Day
01: Istanbul Arrival
Arrival
in Istanbul airport. met by our guide at the airport and transfer
to your hotel . Overnight in Istanbul.
Day
02 : Istanbul - Ankara by flight , Cappadocia ( B. L. D. )
Early
morning transfer to Istanbul airport for flight to Ankara. Arriva
in Ankara airport and transfer to city center to start to visit
to the world-wide famous Anatolian Civilizations Museum also known
as Hittite Museum and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place
of the Turkish hero. Then departure for Cappadocia and lunch on
the way. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake visit to
the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan. Arrival to
the Cappadocia region and overnight
Day
03 : Cappadocia ( B. L. D. )
After
having breakfast in the hotel visit to the Pigeon Valley near
Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through
Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated
with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible.
Lunch in a restaurant and then visit to Kaymakli Underground City,
the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve
region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide
famous handicrafts. Overnight in Cappadocia .
Day
04 : Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale ( B. L. D. )
Early
departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit to the 13th century
Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai and arrival in Konya.
Lunch. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the world-wide
famous mystic, proceed to Karatay Theological School in which
beautiful tiles are on display. Drive to Pamukkale and overnight.
Day
05 : Pamukkale - Kusadasi ( B. L. D. )
In
the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the Theatre,
Apollo Temple and magnificent Necropolis, the graveyard. Then
drive to Aphrodisias and lunch. Later visit to the ruins and the
museum. Drive to Kusadasi and overnight
Day
06 : Ephesus ( B. L. D. )
Morning
tour to Ephesus area with Ephesus Antique City (Hillside Houses
are excluded), Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of
the ancient world; Virgin Mary’s House, Selcuk Ephesus Museum
and St. John Church. Overnight in Kusadasi .
Day
07 : Pergamum - Canakkale ( B. L. D. )
Early
departure for Bergama and visit to the Asclepion and Acropol with
the well preserved remains. Lunch and drive to Assos for a short
visit to the village. Continue on to Canakkale for overnight (When
there is unavailability at the hotels in Canakkale there might
be overnight in Assos as well).
Day
08 : Troy - Gallipoli - Istanbul ( B. L.)
After
breakfast drive to Troy, the place where the legendary Trojan
War took place in the historical work of Homer of Smyrna. After
visiting the site with nine inhabitation levels covering a period
of 3000 years, drive to Canakkale and lunch. Thereafter sail to
the other side of Dardanelles by a ferryboat and drive to Istanbul
with visit to Gallipoli, historically famous for being the site
of many battles - particularly involving the Allied Forces including
Australians and New Zealanders during World War I. Arrival in
Istanbul and transfer to the hotel or airport

09 : Istanbul ( B. )
09.00
a.m. After breakfast pick up from hotel and Our journey begins
in Istanbul, the only city in the world situated on two continents.
Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul - its three names span more
than 2600 years, nearly 1600 of them as the capital of two of
the greatest empires the world has known, Byzantine and Ottoman.
We visit the Topkapi Palace ,Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque and
Hippodrome, where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place.
Overnight in Istanbul.
Day
10 : Home ( B. )
Pick
up from and transfer to Istanbul airport for flight back home.
